The purpose of the EAA clubs is to connect employees with shared characteristics, culture, life experiences, or common interests, support staff development and learning, enhance morale, and offer recreational and leisure activities and networking opportunities. It should be noted that approval to be listed as an EAA club does not guarantee that funding will be provided for the club’s activities. The Lab may only fund activities that are allowable based on the terms of our Contract with DOE.
New club applications are accepted annually in September to be considered for the upcoming fiscal year budget consideration. New club applications should be submitted, whether or not funding assistance is requested. Applicants are notified of their application approval, with or without funding approval, in November. More information is available here: Start a New Club.
