New EAA Website Launched
Originally created in 2014, the Employee Activities Association (EAA) Club website has long resided on the Lab’s original servers utilizing the www2.lbl.gov domain. The previous version of the website could be tedious to update, requiring assistance from IT subject matter experts for each change.
The new web design adopts the consistent theme and structure of the Berkeley Lab Operations Area web space, including the Human Resources Division which oversees the Association. The HR team collaborated with the Information Technology (IT) Division to launch the new EAA website on April 1, 2022.
The updated theme is responsive to different devices and offers increased accessibility for users. The new version is built on the popular WordPress content management system and is substantially faster to update and easier to learn.
